Trinity

Working alongside the Velvet Principle design agency we created the wayfinding programme and signage for Trinity shopping centre in Leeds.

The 1,000,000 sq. ft. retail space which has 120 stores, opened on time and within the agreed budget.

Working closely with our clients we developed the original design concepts and through a rigorous prototyping exercise the final technical methods were agreed.

The stand out piece of the scheme was the centre logo letter signs which features hundreds of mirrored discs - some of which are over 4.5m high. Our skilled engineers applied the discs whilst wearing white gloves to maximise the reflective quality of each one once in situ.

The remainder of the scheme included neon style acrylic text signs in the brand pallet’s purple and pink and illuminated via LEDs and glass fronted totem signage which features a coloured illuminated edge.

The overall scheme reflected the branding of the centre perfectly and the programme was expertly managed by our experienced project manager

This project is a super example of the skill of our in-house design teams who are highly skilled and able to handle brand management and conceptual work. Either supporting agencies or working with brands directly, our studios are able to offer the full range of essential creative solutions, supported by extensive experience in production techniques so clients can be assured that what is proposed can actually be converted into a reality.
