WaterJet Operator 

Astley is an award winning UK Company, providing complete signage and graphics solutions from concept design, through to final installation. 

Ideal experience and characteristics:

• Experience of running and operating AXYZ CNC router machines and possibly a flow waterjet machines
• Knowledge of material properties including sheet acrylics and metal
• Loading sheets of material on and off the machine bed so some physical dexterity needed
• Knowledge of V-Carve software (Training will be given)
• Cleaning cut items and checking them against the drawing and visuals from the design team to make sure they match up to the customer's requirements 
• Housekeeping
• Flexibility to work above and beyond their normal working hours when extra machine capacity is required - including weekends
• Forklift licence would be beneficial
• Understanding of Continious improvement and in particular 5S would be advantageous
