Assembly Operative
Astley is an award winning UK Company, providing complete signage and graphics solutions from concept design, through to final installation.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced assembly operative for our assembly department in Kettering, producing high quality bespoke signage for leading brands in the UK. This role will be responsible for manufacture and assembly of signage and display products. There is also the possibility of development and growth within this role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and key tasks:
- To manufacture, assemble and finish signage and display products from supplied drawings
- Fully competent in the use of hand tools and workshop machinery
- Have good knowledge in manufacturing and assembly techniques including, woodworking, metal working, electrical assembly (LEDs) and plastic fabrication
- Ensure production requirements are met regarding quality, cost effectiveness and on time delivery
- Ensure all working hours and information is logged to assist accurate costing and data analysis
- Manage your own H&S in accordance with the Astley H&S Policy and take responsibility for the upkeep of your allocated work area
