astley was appointed as a preferred supplier in 2010 after the Co-operative Group acquisition of Somerfield, and have been delivering signage programmes for new stores, PFS and refurbished sites ever since.
Over that time we have worked on the grocery brand as well as with The Co-op Bank designing, supplying and installing internal and external signage.
In 2019 we secured the contract to deliver both internal and external signage covering Co-op Food, Funeralcare, Nisa and the supply only of signage components for Reactive Maintenance.

​Another in-house service that Co-op make best use of is our creative studio, who produce and manage signage manuals for the sites. Working with the Co-op brand guidelines, our highly skilled designers identify elements on site for branding and then adapt the signage manual rules for rollout programmes. This is an invaluable extended resource for brands such as Co-op, who no longer need to necessarily work with multiple agencies to deliver the end programme.
