With 14 installation crews based across the UK, Astley can provide installation services any time, nationwide. Our crews are fully trained in the safe use of access equipment and machinery, and hold all necessary operating permits, including SSSTS, SMSTS, CSCS, PASMA, and IPAF.
The Health and Safety of our clients, staff, and the general public is the number one priority. At Astley, we make it our mission to keep a safe working environment at our facilities and on-site, and we continue to invest in retaining all necessary H&S certification to ensure we work safely and in accordance with the latest legislation. We understand the requirement to have specialist installation expertise on live forecourts, and so our crews also hold SPA passports, the safety certificate that authorises our teams to work on these sites.

Health and Safety holds a vital place in our working environments, and to ensure best practices are followed in the factories and on-site, we hold regular external, internal, and sub-contractor audits.

The safety of our staff, partners and clients is our priority and main focus. We have a dedicated HSQE Manager who oversees all our processes to ensure that every activity is carefully reviewed with the latest H&S legislation in mind.
As part of our internal processes, and in line with our ISO 9001 quality management system, we document and hold regular audits throughout the business addressing Health and Safety topics and these are fed back to our Leadership Team and the wider business.
All staff receive regular and robust training in job specific health and safety topics, and our engineers on-site are all fully trained and accredited to work in sector specific environments which require additional and specialist certifications such as live petroleum forecourts and schools.
We hold all necessary H&S accreditations including SSIP, CHAS, Altius and Constructionline.
