Branding across forecourts in the UK

Helping brands come to life across UK forecourts

Elevating the EV experience through structural signage

astley has supported Motor Fuel Group (MFG) across the PFS and EV sector for several years, delivering rebrand and refresh programmes throughout their extensive network of forecourt properties.

As part of this relationship we helped the brand develop a new, large-scale EV Forecourt Totem – bringing safety, style, and certified structural expertise to the project.

The requirements

Whether it’s a full rebrand to a new forecourt identity or the introduction of a new EV brand, MFG needs branding partners who understand the complex and compliance-heavy nature of forecourt environments. From working out of hours to minimise disruption, to meeting strict health and safety standards, forecourt projects come with a unique set of demands that require specialist expertise.

The forecourt experience is evolving rapidly with the rise of EV, and as the industry advances, so too does the need for proactive, forward-thinking branding partners.

We were to help develop a bold, branded totem that would define their EV forecourt presence. This structure needed to be visually distinctive while also meeting rigorous health and safety standards.

Our solution

Our creative and technical teams were happy to help develop the initial concept for these distinctive totems, working with the client and associated stakeholders to develop a specification that was both fit for purpose but also that offered high visual impact on the forecourt.

astley provides a full-service solution – from concept development and engineering through to fabrication and installation. Our BS EN 1090 certification gives MFG the confidence that all safety and structural integrity standards will be met without compromise. By offering this level of assurance, we’ve been able to protect our client from the risks associated with uncertified fabrication – while ensuring the brands we deliver for them are both bold and built to last.

As one of only a few BS EN 1090 certified signage manufacturers in the UK, we are uniquely positioned to deliver a compliant, structurally-sound product. Our certification ensures that every element of steel fabrication adheres to current legislation – an essential safeguard for projects involving large-scale installations.
