Specialist installation delivered by fully accredited experts

Expert and highly specialist installation services across the entire of the UK

Our crews are strategically located to offer a quick and efficient response. The advantage of having such a large reach across the country also means we can assign crews closest to the requirement, keeping our travel carbon footprint to a minimum.

From standard installations to working at extreme height or in hazardous spaces such as petrol forecourts, all our crews are highly trained and can evidence capability through industry accreditations.

Our Process

Site visit

During site visits and surveys, our team captures essential information to prepare for safe, efficient installs or maintenance—identifying required access equipment and any potential hazards. Clients can opt for a bespoke cloud-based system, offering real-time access to survey photos and team feedback.

Risk and Method Statement (RAMS)

Before any site visit, the assigned Project Manager prepares a detailed Risk and Method Statement (RAMS), outlining crew responsibilities and safety measures to protect all on-site personnel. These are shared in advance with crews and stakeholders. Our dedicated HSQE Manager oversees RAMS compliance and conducts regular site visits to ensure safe working practices.

Activity summaries

Clear communication is essential, which is why we share activity summaries with clients and on-site stakeholders, and liaise with site managers in advance to arrange inductions and coordinate access.

Lift Plans

Astley values in-house expertise, which is why we’ve trained two Appointed Persons (AP) to write Lift Plans—now a legal requirement under the UK’s LOLER regulations. Their role ensures lifting operations, such as totem installations, are carried out safely and tailored to each site’s specific conditions.

FAQs

I need to install at multiple sites in the UK - are you able to handle this?

It’s something we have won awards for, on several occasions! Our teams are highly experienced in the logistics of managing a multi-site rollout programme, carefully securing crews and arranging for road closures and permits to ensure that each installation is carried out with compliance in mind.

How many are in your teams and are they fully qualified?

We send out two men crews for our installations to ensure that we have health and safety requirements covered. Anyone attending a site will hold a CSCS card alongside other certification to prove capability. There is a lead fitter and generally a fitter’s mate, depending on the work involved.

I need to have an old sign removed and a new one installed - can you help?

Yes! As a zero-waste-to-landfill partner, we always remove any redundant signage from a site and dispose of it in line with this policy, either having it recycled or converted to energy. We also like to review a sign currently in use to see if we can reuse it eg. reclad it for example, to work as sustainably as possible.
