Supporting Staycity Group with their rebrand program across the UK and Europe

Following the redesign of both the beloved Staycity Group brands – Staycity Aparthotels and Wilde Aparthotels – we won the tender opportunity to be the brand’s signage partner to fulfill their estate’s rollout programme.
From the external signage to internals and wayfinding, our teams have surveyed, designed, manufactured and installed a variety of signage assets for sites across their estate.
Understanding the sheer scale and complexity for this type of rollout can be daunting, and any brand considering this type of programme needs to ensure they select the right type of partner than can commit…and deliver!
Staycity Group needed a branding partner to translate their new brand identities onto various styles of architecture, across multiple locations, ensuring for consistent application and quality, and supporting with surveys, planning applications, and the coordination of complex installations. The branding partner needed to offer both practical expertise alongside logistical excellence to ensure that the programme ran seamlessly.
Our teams firstly commenced with the significant surveying phase, visiting Staycity and Wilde sites across the UK and Europe to document information about current branded assets such as dimensions, positioning, fittings, types of access required at install etc. These surveys prove invaluable in ensuring a seamless delivery, equipping the whole team and client stakeholders, from design to install, with the necessary information about each property’s unique characteristics to mitigate any potential risk.
Our in-house design team fulfilled an extensive prototyping and concept development phase, collaborating with the client and key stakeholders to ensure that signage characteristics for colour, illumination and finish were reviewed prior to manufacture. This phase proved extremely vital in ensuring all parties are happy with the final specifications and help combat any room for misinterpretation.
Following approval of the designs, our team then created site-specific signage packs for all locations, using an overarching signage manual, to specify each asset for each location. These site packs were also used as part of the planning application process, which we can support our clients with as a supporting service.
All signs were manufactured within our two production facilities, working closely together to meet with the demands of the programme.
Our in-house technical team developed all drawings to meet structural requirements and ensure every installation complied with relevant legislation and standards, including BS EN 1090 certification for structural fabrication.
Our experienced Project Managers oversaw all programme logistics, ensuring key milestones were met while maintaining clear client communication, securing permits and road closures, and coordinating installation crews. They worked closely with on-site contractors to ensure smooth collaboration and upheld strict HSQE objectives throughout every stage of the project.
We’re delighted to say this programme won GOLD at the 2025 Sign & Wrap Awards in the Rollout Category – second year in a row for us – evidencing our ability to offer clients a true concept-to-completion solution.
