Branding across a UK estate

Astley’s brand implementation services continue to support leading names in the FMCG, including Asda.

From the outset, our teams focused on understanding Asda’s brand values and communication objectives, laying the foundation for a strong and proactive partnership that is now expanding across their UK estate.

The requirements

Managing the branding of a large estate such as ASDA’s is a task we are happy to support with, but as with any large portfolio, consistency of application is key. Ensuring that their business-as-usual activities aren’t affected whilst rebrand and refreshes happen is another vital consideration.

The landscape is changing for large brands that work within this sector and the requirement to help support with concession branding and the user-focused experience is something we are happy to support. Shoppers want to buy more than just food on their visits, so the fact we also help with the branding for click and collect zones, pharmacies and optician brands means that they are supported by a partner who can answer a full range of requirements under the one roof.

Our solution

Our concept-to-completion solution accompanied by our many years of experience working within this sector means that we offer a proven set of processes to overcome the challenges faced by brands such as ASDA, supporting them with seamless delivery that focuses on quality, safety and efficiency.

An integral part of the onboard of clients, is to learn about their brand and values and how their messaging needs to effectively convey key objectives. Throughout our initial work with Asda, our account and project teams took the time to understand the overall brand ethos and looked to support them with a proactive relationship which we are now pleased to say is moving forward with more work across their UK estate.

Our in-house designers produce site-specific signage packs for this grocery retailer, and offer high-level value engineering consultancy as part of the process, helping the brand introduce new ways of producing graphics within their stores.

Manufacturing takes place at our Gateshead facility whilst we make use of our nationwide network of installation and maintenance engineers to fulfill branding often out of hours, helping to keep our travel to a minimum to reduce our carbon footprint.
