Metal Worker

Introduction to the role

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Metalworker for our metal shop department in Gateshead, producing high quality bespoke signage for leading brands in the UK. There is also the possibility of development and growth within this role for the right candidate.

Skills required:

Ability to remain calm under pressure
Sheet metal experience
MIG welding of aluminium
Experience of general metalworking equipment such as press, guillotine, bending rolls etc extremely advantageous
Attention to detail and an eye for quality
Professional and friendly manner with strong team ethics
Reliable, trustworthy and honest
Experience of working in a continuous improvement/ 5S environment
